Sometimes, just sometimes, a quilt needs to be washed. And when that occassion occurs, it is a good idea to have a standby quilt waiting to take its place. So, Joan set to work to make another quilted tablecloth. And, no doubt, she'll need to make a standby quilt for this one. And then a standby quilt for that one, and then........
